PR Log (Press Release) – June 9, 2014 - LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Nashville singer songwriter Nick Nichols is known around the music city as not only an accomplished writer but a well seasoned performer. After spending 30 years as a guitarist in Greenville, S.C., with rock band Southern Crescent, Nick Nichols made his way to Nashville a couple years ago with a portfolio of songs he had written over the years. Since that time, Nichols has earned a solid reputation as one of the up and coming writers on Music Row with numerous songs pitched to such artists as Travis Tritt, Ronnie Milsap, Tricia Yearwood, Jamie O’Neal, Lee Greenwood, and Clay Walker.
Nick Nichols inked his first distribution deal with Star 1 Records in March of this year and his new single, "The High Cost Of Loving" has now been released worldwide. Nick Nichols came to Star 1's attention via his connection to the Irish /International Songwriters Guild when Sean Andrew Murray, an Irish rock artist and founder of the Guild connected with Premier Records about the talented writer and performer. "Nick had sent me several of his songs and after hearing the very first one I knew I had found someone special" said Laura Patterson Artist Relations Director at Star 1 Records. Another newly signed artist with Premier Records, Shane O' Neill will be releasing another one of Nichols songs" I Am Music" as part of his debut album later this year and as a single this month.
